Merry Christmas!

Well, it turns out that I will be having a snow-free Christmas in Texas this year. My blood counts are still a little too low to go home. I'm in the home stretch though and will be home before New Year's. I know my mom is anxious to go home and be with her family and grandchildren for Christmas and they are equally as anxious to have her home. The only problem is that one of the stipulations of doing a stem cell transplant is that you must have someone with you at all times. So I'm trying to find someone willing to come stay with me during Christmas so my mom can have a well deserved break. We'll see what happens.

Most importantly though, please keep my friend Chris Coulon in your thoughts, hearts and prayers. As you know, Chris had a stem cell transplant a few months ago. Chris has had a rough go of it lately. Not feeling well for months at a time can really takes it's toll. And it can't be easy for his sweet wife JoAnna and their adorable daughter Mae to stand by and watch their favorite guy be sick. My Christmas wish this year is that Chris gets a clean bill of health and is pain free from now on. I'm sure anyone who knows Chris has the same wish, for he is all of our favorite guy.

Love,

Jen
