Week in Review
Week at a glance. Condensed version:
Monday: 14 hour day at the hospital. Long. Too long. Left 5 million stem cells lighter!
Tuesday: My sister Colleen left. So sad. I miss her. A lot.
Wednesday: Had my CVC/central line switched to smaller one. 'Cable wires' are now more like telephone wires.
Thursday: Megan came!
Friday: My mom passed her at home CVC dressing change & Heparin flush test. No more daily hospital visits!
Saturday: Day off from hospital. Much needed.
Sunday: Steve McCall's birthday. Incredible cousin. Incredible friend. Incredible guy.
Monday: Megan left. So sad. I miss her. A lot.
Low point of my days:
Tired. Very tired.
Highlight of my days:
Getting mail. Getting packages. Love it. Thank you!

Hi Jen,
I'm so grateful to have found your website! I am just beginning the process of eligibility for the same trial at md anderson so being able to learn from your experience is an amazing gift!
I was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in Feb. o7. I am now stage 4 and tired of living on chemo. I'm very hopeful about the stem cell transplant process. My prayers are with you and I'm so looking forward to hearing you've come through cancer free with a strong, healthy new immune system.
