Heading to Houston
Hi All,
After many frustrating weeks and lots and lots of red tape, I am FINALLY going to Houston next week to start the transplant! None of this would be possible without each and every one of you. I am so thankful.
Until then I will be spending time with my nieces and nephews since I don't know when I will be able to see them again. Even after I come home in two or three months, my immune system will be so severely compromised that I won't be able to be around children.
I will post details as soon as I find out more.

I am thinking of you and cheering for you and excited that you are ready to head to Houston. My entire family lives there...should you need anything of a 'local' resource, please let me know and I can help! Katie has all my Chicago info.
