Hi Everyone,

I can't believe it!  Five weeks ago some emails and letters went out asking people for their help.  To be honest, I had reservations about it, but being in the dire situation that I am, I had to put aside my pride.  Plus, I figured it would generate some prayers and I always welcome those.  NEVER did I think I would reach my goal in such a short amount of time! 

The outpouring from loved ones and strangers alike has been truly overwhelming.  I have received donations and well wishes from all across the country, including Hawaii.  And I even heard from someone in Israel!  Along with donations, people have given so generously in other ways. 

Sara in Denver donated her time by teaching exercise classes, while in Minneapolis a woman named Lucy sold jewelry in my honor.   A Chicago hair stylist donated the cost of a cut and the prayer group at Faith Hope made a blanket for me while saying prayers as they sewed. Mindy Gallagher lives in Minnesota and she made an adorable tote to be auctioned (please visit the link page and click on 'babylaene' to order any of her stylish reversible bags.  I of course favor the 'jenmosher' bag found under the July archive 'stitch for a cure').  And as I have mentioned before, Chris Usher so generously donated the beautiful Pink Ribbonprint. 

Lastly, I must add a special acknowledgment to Jeff Carlstead who is the uncle of my best friend Suzie.  Because of his belief and his kindness, this 'hurdle' snowballed into a reality.  People like him, and each and every one of you, make it easy to see how much good there is in the world.
